This project will allow students of primary school to explore facts about the need and use of different fabrics in the lives of people across the globe. The Students will understand about different kinds of clothing, how they are made, and taking care of different kinds of fabrics, (select three to four different countries of the world for study).
Learning Outcomes - At the end of the project the students will be able to: Understand clothes worn by different people across the globe and how they have changed over the years. Will identify the different kinds of fabrics used by people across the world. Explain the process of making fabrics in different parts of the world and the different ways of taking care of them.
This project will allow students to explore different kinds of animal habitats all over the world and understand how climatic and geographical conditions influence the animal habitats.
Learning Outcomes - At the end of the project the students will be able to: Understand what is a biome and their different kinds. Compare the desert regions of the world and present a comparative study of at least two desert animal habitats. Locate the forest regions of the world and present facts and information on Tropical Rainforest of South America as animal habitats.
The project will allow students to develop an understanding of a map, a globe and be familiar with location of other countries of the world.
Learning Outcomes - At the end of the project the students will be able to: Identify the map of their home country and the map of world. Identify the location of at least 3 continents of the world. Identify the oceans, landmasses and four main directions on the globe.
The project will allow students to know about themselves, their friends in other countries, the differences and similarities (in appearance, language etc.) and the wonderful things that they do at school.
Learning Outcomes - At the end of the project the students will be able to: Identify their body parts and understand the uniqueness of every child despite same body parts Understand the variation in physical appearance in different parts of the world Say hello in three international languages
The project will allow students to explore the difference and similarities in the lives of adolescent boys and girls in different parts of the world and how the growing up experiences influences their lifestyles
Learning Outcomes - At the end of the project the students will be able to: Understand the daily routine of adolescent boys/girls of at least three countries. Create a rating scale to study their career priorities. Present their reports depicting the advantages and disadvantages of varied environments and growing up experiences.
To learn about 5 different religions of the world ( Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism ) through reciprocal visit to a partner school. And also learn the message of universal love, peace & brotherhood spread across all the religions of the world.
Learning Outcomes - At the end of the project the students: Will become familiar with 5 major religions of the world and their important teachings. Students would formulate a global policy of ONE WORLD : ONE RELIGION, UNIVERSAL LOVE, PEACE & BROTHERHOOD. Will be able to learn the message of universal love, peace & brotherhood spread across all the religions of the world.
This project will allow students to explore the facts about access to clean drinking water to people across the globe and what can be done to save water wastage and prevent water pollution.
Learning Outcomes -
At the end of the project the students will be able to:
(1) Know about available clean drinking water on the planet earth.
(2) Understand water purification system process in developed countries and role of technology in establishing better systems.
(3) Formulate an international policy to prevent water wastage and pollution.
